❓ GENERAL TRIP QUESTIONS


Q: What are the exact dates of the trip?


🗓️ April 25–28, 2026. It’s a 4-day, 3-night adventure packed with history, fun, and even roller coasters!

Q: How do I sign up?


📝 Registration is open now, and spots are limited! Check with your trip organizer or school contact for the official registration link and payment schedule. Don’t wait — it will sell out!

Q: How will we get to D.C.?


🚌 We’re traveling by a deluxe, chartered motorcoach, equipped with comfy seats, climate control, and likely a lot of snacks and music.

Q: Will students be supervised at all times?


✅ Yes! The trip will be chaperoned by teachers and professional tour staff. Each evening, a private hotel security guard will be on duty to ensure safety and peace of mind.

Q: What kind of hotel are we staying in?


🏨 A well-rated, student-friendly hotel in the D.C. area with private overnight security. Room assignments will be managed by chaperones.

Q: What should students bring?


🎒 Pack comfortable walking shoes, weather-appropriate clothes, a water bottle, and a camera or phone for photos. A full packing list will be provided closer to the trip.

Q: How much spending money should students bring?


💵 Lunch and some dinners are covered with $20 allotments each day. Extra money is optional for souvenirs, snacks, or extra treats at Six Flags or museums.

Q: Are meals included?


🍕 Yes! All meals are either included or provided with a $20 food allowance per meal. No one goes hungry on this trip!

Q: How do we pay for food with the $20 meal allotments?


Each student will receive either prepaid cards or cash allotments (depending on the system set up) for lunch and some dinners. This gives students the freedom to choose what they want to eat from a range of local options.

🗽 WASHINGTON, D.C. SPECIFIC QUESTIONS


Q: How much walking will there be?


🚶‍♂️ Quite a bit! Washington, D.C. is a very walkable city, and we’ll be exploring monuments, museums, and memorials. Comfy sneakers are a must!

Q: Is D.C. safe for student travel?


✅ Yes. The areas we visit are heavily traveled by tourists and school groups. Students are always with chaperones and tour staff, and our hotel has overnight security.

Q: Can I go inside the White House?


🏛️ Unfortunately, no — due to strict security and limited access, we’ll view the White House from the outside and take some awesome photos.

Q: What if it rains?


🌧️ The trip goes on rain or shine! Just bring a small umbrella or a poncho, and we’ll keep the adventure rolling.

Q: Are the Smithsonian Museums really free?


🎉 Yes! The Smithsonian Museums are FREE to enter, and you’ll get to choose which one you want to visit on Day 4 — from Air and Space to Natural History, there’s something for everyone.

Q: Will I see real historical documents?


📜 Yep! At the National Archives, you’ll get to see the original Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

🎢 SIX FLAGS ADVENTURE PARK QUESTIONS


Q: Are we really going to Six Flags?!


🎢 YES! That’s our surprise bonus on Day 3. You’ll spend an afternoon at Six Flags America enjoying thrill rides, snacks, and games with your friends.

Q: What kind of rides are at Six Flags?


🎠 From classic coasters and water rides to tamer attractions for the less adventurous — there’s something for everyone. Roller coaster fans, get ready.

Q: Is there an extra cost for Six Flags?


🎟️ No! Admission is included in your trip package. Bring extra cash if you want souvenirs, snacks, or to test your luck at carnival games.

Q: Do I have to ride roller coasters?


😅 Nope! There are plenty of other things to enjoy — like food, shows, arcades, and low-key rides. No pressure, just fun.
